Corner Brook Fire Department Responds to False Alarm

The Corner Brook Fire Department and the RNC responded to a report of a residential fire in the cities east end shortly before 6:00 pm on Friday.

It was determined that it was a minor electrical issue which caused a small amount of smoke contained to one room.

No fire was detected.

There were no injuries and no damage to the residence.
