A low pressure system will track into Newfoundland over the course of Saturday evening through the remainder of the weekend.
On Saturday night, Newfoundland will see a round of snow across most areas except for the southwest coast, which will see rain.
Then by Sunday afternoon, the snow will make it to southern Newfoundland. Snow will spread across much of the Island except for the Great Northern Peninsula. The snow will move out of Newfoundland by Monday morning.
It remains too early to provide specific precipitation amounts. Keep checking back for updates.
