Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was accosted while helping flood efforts in Constance Bay, near downtown Ottawa.
Trudeau, along with his sons Xavier and Hadrien were filling sandbags in the effort to reduce damage from floodwaters.
One man, a volunteer did not appreciate the Prime Minister being there.
He shouted at the Prime Minister that his security team was holding up traffic and preventing volunteers from showing up.
Trudeau engaged the man and tried to calm him down.
The Prime Ministers Office said they spoke with the RCMP who said traffic around the Constance and Buckham's Bay Community Centre was not blocked for Trudeau's visit.
