The Hebron platform that is being built in Bull Arm is nearing completion.
The oil production platform may be towed out to sea to begin work as soon as April.
Over the course of the construction there were roughly 3,700 jobs created.
The Hebron-Ben Nevis Oil Field is an oil field located in Jeanne d'Arc Basin. It was discovered in 1981 and developed by ExxonMobil. The oil field is operated and owned by ExxonMobil. The total proven reserves of the Hebron-Ben Nevis oil field are 700 million barrels, and production will be centered on 150,000 barrels per day.
