Snow will begin along the south coast overnight on Monday. Environment Canada has issued winter storm watches and warnings, along with wind warnings, blowing snow advisories, and special weather statements.
There is the potential for significant snowfall over parts of southern and eastern Newfoundland, including the Avalon.
St. John's: 25 to 45 cm
Marystown: 10 to 20 cm
Gander: 15 to 20 cm
Corner Brook: 2 to 4 cm
St. Anthony: 2 cm
We will also see strong wind with gusts up to 100 km/h in areas, except 120 km/h in the Channel-Port aux Basques region.
Snow will continue in some areas until Wednesday Night.
