Three individuals have been arrested in relation to the attempted murder investigation resulting from an incident on Springdale Street in St. John’s on last Monday.
RNC responded to a residence on Springdale Street to a report that a man had been shot. A 21 year old man was taken to hospital by Eastern Health Paramedics where he remains in serious condition at this time.
One man and two women in connection with the incident. The man, a 55 year old, faces charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement, Uttering Threats, Public Mischief, Possession of a Firearm Contrary to an Order, and Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order.
A 42 year old St. John’s woman faces charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement, and Public Mischief.
And an 18 year old St. John’s woman was charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Public Mischief.
Police say that the victim and the three individuals were known to each other and this was not a random act of violence.
All three adults who were arrested today will appear at Provincial Court Today.
