Wanted person arrested after theft and carrying weapon in St. John’s

On Thursday evening the RNC responded to a business in the east end of St John’s, to a report of a wanted person.

Officers spoke to security at the business who identified a 40 year old male. The male had just committed a theft at the business, he was arrested on three outstanding warrants and was additionally charged with; theft, possession weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of justice and breach of probation.

The man was held for court.
