Two New Cases of COVID-19

On Saturday two new cases of COVID-19 were reported.

One case is located in Eastern Health and the other is located in Western Health. Both are travel related.

The case in Western Health is a close contact of the case reported on Friday. She is a member of the same household. There was an error in the location of the case reported on Friday. The public advisory issued on Friday should have referenced a case in Western Health, not Central Health.

There are now 8 active cases of COVID-19. 289 people have recovered from the virus. To date, 56,476 people have been tested.
