Trudeau to host the Canada-EU Summit in St. John's

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will host the Canada-EU Summit in St. John's today and tomorrow.

Charles Michel, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, will represent the Europen Union.

At 7:00 p.m. The Prime Minister will deliver remarks at the opening reception.

The leaders are expected to discuss the war in Ukraine, the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, the economy, and climate change.
