The City of Corner Brook Releases 2023 Budget

On December 5th, The city released the budget for next year (2023); Here are some key highlights from the budget release:

• No mil rate increase on property tax

• Expenses have increased by 5.13% from 2022. The city now has ($37,414,385) compared to 2022's budget of ($35,588,100).

• Tax bills will be increased to $7.70 a month ($92/year)

• Stream trail upgrades will be completed

• Great Trail Project set to begin (a project upgrading both a walk/bicycle path from Curling to the town of Mt.Moriah)
