Team NL returning home today from Summer Games

Team NL at closing Ceremonies

The remaining participants from Team Newfoundland and Labrador who competed in the Niagara Region for the 2022 Canada Summer Games will return home today.

The flight is expected to land at the St. John’s International Airport at 2:45 pm.

Members of the public are invited to join family and friends in welcoming week two athletes home.

Athletes from this province competed in athletics, road cycling, diving, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, and volleyball.

The Canada Summer Games ended on Sunday with the Closing Ceremonies in Niagara Falls.

Newfoundland and Labrador placed 9th at the games winning nine medals. One gold, six silver, and two bronze.
