Strike action looming on Wednesday if no deal reached for PSAC members

If an agreement is not reached by tomorrow evening Public Service Alliance of Canada members will take strike action on Wednesday.

The move would impact over 100,000 staff and impacting multiple federal government departments including the Canada Revenue Agency.

The union was in a legal strike position last week.

CRA employees have been working without a contract for more than a year. Chris Aylward, PSAC national president said “Workers can’t wait, and we’re ready to show this government we won’t let workers fall behind.”
