St. John’s to welcome first cruise ship of the season

St. John’s will welcome the first cruise ship of the season today.

The Phoenix Reisen Amera will arrive in port with approximately 900 passengers.

There are 40 scheduled visits from 18 cruise lines scheduled to arrive between May and October.

Cruise ship arrivals and departures are subject to various factors including marine conditions and ships’ schedules. They may be cancelled or postponed at any time.

The public is reminded that parking is limited on Harbour Drive during cruise ship visits to accommodate tour operators and other passenger transportation.
