St. John's accepting applications for Anti-Racism Working Group

The City of St. John's is accepting applications for volunteer membership in the newly created Anti-Racism Working Group.


The group will be responsible for developing and implementing a plan that fosters anti-racism while promoting diversity and inclusion in the City of St. John’s and providing solution-based recommendations to the Council and City Staff.


The group will be comprised of a minimum of 11 and maximum of 15 members from various groups including the Anti-Racism Coalition of Newfoundland, Human Rights Commission, the Association for New Canadians, and RNC among others.


Up to five individuals will represent organizations that have expertise in racism and fostering anti-racism.
