Snow and strong winds continue across parts of the province
A low currently off the coast of Labrador will bring strong winds and heavy snow to parts of the province.
Along northern facing shores of Newfoundland, strong winds are expected today and tonight. Winds will gust between 80 and 100 km/h before diminishing by Tuesday morning.
The west coast of the Island will receive about 10 to 20 cm of snow today and this evening. Winds will gust to 80 km/h resulting in blowing snow.
By tonight 30 to 50 cm of snow is expected for northern coastal Labrador. Strong winds with gusts between 70 and 100 km/h are also anticipated.
Upper Lake Melville and Eagle River will see 35 cm of snow by this evening. Wind gusts to 60 km/h are expected.
