RNC stop speeding impaired driver in Corner Brook

Around 2:00 am this morning, the RNC stopped a driver travelling at a high rate of speed on Griffin Drive in Corner Brook.

Police determined that the 34-year-old male driver was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

The driver provided a breath sample and was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.

The motor vehicle was seized and the operator’s driver’s license was suspended.
