RNC releases statement on sexual assault allegations

The RNC has responded to information recently brought forward by a local lawyer, Lynn Moore, related to retired RNC officers allegedly involved in sexual assault and other offences.

The RNC has learned that there are four potential officers, and they have confirmed the identity of one subject officer. The subject officer is retired, and the RNC cannot legally disclose their identity at this time.

Chief Joe Boland said that officers will be held accountable for illegal actions.

The RNC has also been in contact with SIRT-NL regarding the information.

In the statement, RNC says they stand with victims and survivors.
