RCMP investigating death of woman in Summerford

The RCMP are investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman in the water in Summerford on Sunday.

Police responded to a report of a woman in the water in Summerford. The woman was found unresponsive and was transported by emergency medical services to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged, and the investigation is ongoing.
