RCMP investigates human remains found in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The RCMP continues to investigate the discovery of human remains discovered in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday.

The remains were located off a trail north of Kelland Drive.

Police have secured since for the purposes of the investigation.

The remains were recovered from the scene and are being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further analysis.

An update will be provided as warranted as the investigation progresses.
