Provincial officials are in Texas for an oil and gas summit

Provincial Government officials are in Texas for an oil and gas summit.

The North America Prospect Exhibit Summit in Houston started on Wednesday and concludes on Friday.

The summit, now in its 30th year, is the energy industry’s marketplace for the buying, selling and trading of prospects and producing properties.

At the summit, there are over 10,000 delegates and 1,000 exhibiters from around the world.

The Department of Industry, Energy and Technology, along with industry partners, has been attending this event for over 15 years. The department is also participating in the Canadian Consulate’s program through Global Affairs Canada, which provides the opportunity to connect with major corporate exploration decision makers.
