Proud Boys Could be Classified as Terrorist Organization

Canada could add the Proud Boys to the list of terrorist organizations after the riot that occurred in the United States last week.

Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair said that the Proud Boys and other organizations could be classified as terrorist organizations.

The Proud Boys is a far-right, neo-fascist, and male-only political organization that promotes and engages in political violence in the United States and Canada.

The group operates in both Canada and the United States and was founded in 2016.
