Police stop chronic traffic violator and seize vehicle
On Tuesday the RCMP stopped what they describe as a "chronic traffic violator" in Glovertown.
Police conducted a traffic stop on the well-known 23-year-old driver after an officer saw the suspended driver behind the wheel.
Over the course of the traffic stop, it was determined that the vehicle had no registration.
Recently, the RCMP detachment in Glovertown received a number of reports of various traffic violations involving this driver from concerned citizens.
The driver, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, held a beginner’s permit which required an accompanying driver.
The vehicle was seized and impounded and the driver was ticketed.
