Person seriously injured after assault in St. John’s

Just before midnight on Friday the RNC responded to a report of an assault with a weapon outside a residence in the west end of St. John’s.

As a result of the assault one person was seriously injured and was transported to hospital by ambulance.

The incident remains under investigation.
