Pedestrian-only zone returning to Quidi Vidi Village

Once again this year the City of St. John's will be implementing a pedestrian-only zone in Quidi Vidi Village.

The pedestrian-only zone will take place on weekends from Canada Day until September 5.

From Friday to Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. the area will be closed to through traffic from Barrows Road and Stone’s Road.

Only local traffic will be permitted, and barricades will be staffed during these hours.

Access will be granted for Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studio vendors and deliveries for business as well as users of the slipway for recreational fishing.

Bicycle racks will also be installed in various areas in Quidi Vidi Village.
