Olympic Games in Tokyo come to an end

The 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo have come to an end.

The games lasted 17 days after being delayed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Canada finished in 11th place winning seven gold medals, six silver medals, and eleven bronze for a total of 24 medals.

The United States finished in first place winning a total of 113 medals. China was in second place with 88 medals and Japan trailed in third with 58 medals.

The next summer Olympics will take place in Paris, France, in 2024. The next winter Olympics will be in 2022 in Beijing.
