Residents in Nova Scotia will head to the polls next month.


Premier Tim Houston visited Lt.-Gov. Arthur LeBlanc and asked him to dissolve the legislature.


Election Day will be on November 26. Voters were expected to go to the polls on July 15 , 2025, the fixed election date.


There are currently 55 seats in the legislature. The Progressive Conservative party has 34 seats, the Liberals have 14, the New Democratic Party has six seats and there is one Independent member.
