Minimum wage increasing on April 1

The Provincial Government is reminding employers the minimum wage will increase by 40 cents to $16.00 per hour, effective April 1.

The current minimum wage is $15.60 per hour. The minimum overtime wage rate is 1.5 times the minimum wage, which is currently $23.40 per hour.
