Microsoft to Pull the Plug on Internet Explorer



Microsoft has announced that it will finally pull the plug on Internet Explorer.


The famous browser will no longer be supported as of August 17th, 2021.


Internet Explorer was launched in 1995.


Microsoft Edge was unveiled in 2015, it replaced Internet Explorer as the default browser on Windows Systems. After Microsoft Edge was launched, Internet Explorer remained installed to support older websites.


As of 2019 Google Chrome remained the most used web browser.
