Mask mandate returning tonight

In an unscheduled COVID-19 briefing today, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald announced that the mask mandate in all indoor public spaces will be coming back as of midnight tonight.

There are four new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Two are in Labrador-Grenfell Health and two are in Eastern Health.

There are 38 active cases. There is no one in hospital.

The COVID-19 vaccine passport will be mandatory for non-essential, recreational activities in Newfoundland and Labrador when paper and digital passports are made available.
