Man found deceased in holding cell in Corner Brook

A 52-year-old male died this Monday morning after being taken into custody by an RNC officer in Corner Brook.

The man was taken to HMP custody and was found to be unresponsive in his cell and was transferred to Western Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

SIRT-NL is investigating the matter.
