Man charged after hit and run on Torbay Road

A 29-year-old has been arrested in connection with a hit and run in the Torbay Road area of St. John’s on Wednesday.

Police located the suspect vehicle in the center of the city area. The driver was charged with Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Resisting arrest, Refusal of a Demand, and Breach of Recognizance. Additionally, he is charged with failing to remain at the scene and driving without a Valid License and insurance.

He was held for court and the vehicle was impounded.
