On Wednesday morning the RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on the Main Road in Makinsons.
When officers arrived they observed a car on its roof was abandoned on the side of the roadway.
After a search of the area, officers located the driver and a passenger, both were walking away from the scene. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries and refused medical treatment.
The 29-year-old male driver showed signs of alcohol impairment. The male was arrested for impaired driving.
He was transported to the detachment and provided breath samples that were above the legal limit.
His licence was suspended and the car was seized and impounded.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
