Labour Party wins in landslide in UK Election
For the first time in 14 years, there will be a new government in the United Kingdom.
All 650 seats were in play in the national election. The Labour Party has won a landslide victory winning 412 seats, far surpassing the 326 seats needed for a majority government.
The Conservative Party won 121 seats.
Keir Starmer will become the next prime minister. Outgoing prime minister Rishi Sunak conceded defeat on Friday morning. He will resign as party leader in the coming months.
