Israel carries out military strike on Iran

The Israeli military has carried out a major strike against Iran hitting nuclear sites and killing top military commanders. It also hit the capital of Iran, Tehran.

Shortly after the attack, Iran responded by launching drones at Israel. The military is working to intercept them.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military operation will continue as long as necessary.

The United States was not involved in the attack according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
