Hydro completes second high power pole trip test of the Labrador Island Link

NL Hydro has completed the second 700 MW high power pole trip test of the Labrador Island Link on Saturday.

The system performed as expected with no customer outages.

For the next 12 hours, power flows will stay at 675MW and be monitored as part of the ongoing tests.

This last testing phase was an essential step toward the final commissioning of this asset.
