Government provides funding to Gros Morne Coffee Roasters
The provincial government is providing $41,250 through the Business Development Support Program for Gros Morne Coffee Roasters.
The funding will be used to support professional development, training opportunities for two employees, two sourcing opportunities, organic certification and marketing, which will include improved modern greener packaging and advanced bilingual labelling.
Gros Morne Coffee Roasters has been in operation since 2017 and uses ethically sourced, organically grown beans and roasts in small batches at their headquarters in Deer Lake.
The company’s coffee is now available in more than 100 locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as at locations in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, and it hopes to break into additional export markets.
