Government announces changes to COVID-19 vaccine regulations

The provincial government has announced changes to the COVID-19 vaccine regulations.

The measures implemented in December 2021 will be suspended as of June 1.

These regulations required employees and service providers of certain businesses, facilities and organizations to be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption.

Also today, the government announced it will suspend the mandatory vaccination policy for public service employees on June 1.

If the epidemiology changes, the health measures could be reinstated at any time.
