Goulds residents asked to remain inside as RNC track suspects

Update: A male has been taken into custody related to the ongoing investigation of a weapons offence in Goulds. At this time the search expands South of Main Road for other potential suspects connected to the event.

One man has been sent to hospital with serious injuries related to a weapons offence.

The RNC is asking residents of Goulds to remain inside their homes at this time.

Officers responded to a weapons offence in the area of Doyle’s Road earlier this evening near Robert E Howlett Memorial Drive.

At this time police are tracking potential suspects in the along Back Line & Robert E Howlett Memorial Drive.

Patrol Services, Police Dog Services and Criminal Investigation Division are in the area engaged in the investigation.
