Four COVID-19 deaths as 248 new cases reported

Newfoundland and Labrador has 248 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Regional breakdown:

• Eastern Health region 183

• Central Health region 28

• Western Health region 27

• Labrador-Grenfell Health region 10

There have been four more deaths due to COVID-19.

There is one female and one male between 70-79 years of age in the Eastern Health region, and one female and one male over 80 years of age in the Eastern Health region.

There are 20 people in hospital because of COVID-19, 11 in non-critical care and nine in critical care.
