Fisher medevaced off coast of Labrador

On Saturday members of the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron from 9 Wing Gander conducted a rescue operation off the coast of Labrador.

A fisher was medevaced from a vessel 330 km from Goose Bay.

A patient was hoisted on board and flown by CH-149 helicopter to an awaiting ambulance in Goose Bay.

At the time there was fog along the route.
