Firefighters respond to garage fire in Carbonear

Shortly before 7:30 am this morning the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Long’s Hill.

Responding firefighters noticed a lot of smoke coming from the garage. An exterior attack was initiated and when power was turned off from the garage an interior attack was initiated.

The fire was later extinguished.

Paramedics and the RCMP also responded.
