Federal Industry Minister meets with Rogers CEO

After an outage that knocked out Rogers services across Canada on Friday and shut down debit transactions, the Federal Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry met with the CEO of Rogers.

Minister François-Philippe Champagne spoke with Rogers CEO Tony Staffieri along with the CEO's of Bell and Telus.

Champagne called the outage "unacceptable" and said, "quality, diversity & reliability are key to our telecom network."

Rogers is still reporting intermittent challenges with some services.
