Quebec is headed into an election.

On Sunday premier François Legault visited Édifice André-Laurendeau an office tower where the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Michel Doyon works.

Doyon dissolved the legislature kicking off the 43rd general election.

As the election kicks off, the governing Coalition Avenir Québec holds the lead.
