Debbie Hanlon receiving treatment for aggressive form of cancer

St. John's Councillor Debbie Hanlon has been hospitalized after falling ill.

She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and her symptoms came on very suddenly.

Hanlon remains in hospital and will be in the immediate future. The chemo treatment has been intense but so far she is responding well.

Her council duties have ceased and her team is running her real estate business.
