David Diamond to become transitional CEO of new health authority

The current CEO of Eastern Health David Diamond will take over the role of the transitional CEO to lead the planning team for the new health authority that will be established to eliminate the four regional health authorities.

During the transition, the four existing health authorities will be maintained.

The provincial government maintains that employment impacts will be managed primarily through attrition and employees would be offered comparable employment in the new regional health authority.
