The Borealis is in St. John's today carrying 1825 passengers and close to 600 crew.

The public is reminded that parking is limited on Harbour Drive during cruise ship visits to accommodate tour operators and other passenger transportation. However, City parking remains available in other areas throughout the Downtown except for the pedestrian mall area.

The 237.7-metre ship was refitted for service in the fall of 2020. The name Borealis refers to a ship of the same name that was part of the Fred. Olsen line in 1948, before it became a cruise line.

Borealis is scheduled to depart at 5:00 p.m.
