Corner Brook considering amendments to ATV program #nltraffic

Corner Brook has announced that there is a notice of motion before council regarding amendments to Recreational Vehicle Regulation 2019, the Bylaw that defines the ATV Access Program.

These amendments include adding Lundrigan Drive to the list of designated streets, adding a fee-for-permit to travel on undesignated streets to access the designated routes, and extending the season by 45 days.

Additionally, the city will increase enforcement on designated streets including some enforcement exercises on select days, traffic calming measures in the Curling area to reduce nuisance speeding, and a schedule of fines and penalties for regulation non-compliance.
