Contract Awarded to Replace Aspen Brook Bridge

The provincial government has awarded a contract to replace the Aspen Brook Bridge.

The contract has been awarded to JCL Investments Inc.

Back in July a speed limit reduction was imposed on the bridge.

The contract also includes work to remove the current bridge, pave the highway in the area, and remove the diversion around the current bridge.

The bridge is located approximately 20 kilometres west of Grand Falls-Windsor.

Work is anticipated to be completed later this year.
