Carbonear Fire Department responds to chimney fire on Water Street


On Saturday evening at 9:36 pm, the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Water Street East.


Upon arrival, it was determined that the house was on fire on the first floor.


The entry team discovered fire rolling across the ceiling and an interior attack was started.


The fire was out by 11:45 pm.
