Bay St. George RCMP warns of suspicious vehicle approaching children

The RCMP is warning the public to be cautious after a report of a vehicle recently in Robinsons, where the male driver was acting suspiciously and trying to initiate a conversation with children.

The vehicle is described as a green van with a Texas license plate.

RCMP says there are also social media posts alleging suspicious activities over this past weekend in the Bay St. George and Burgeo areas, involving a vehicle of a similar description.

In these cases, no formal police reports have been received.

Police are asking parents to talk to their children about what they should do to protect themselves in a situation such as this.
